Bear Park is home to our state-of-the-art permaculture garden and growing dome. We grow a variety of food and plant products which then gets used by our culinary students, as well as in our campus dining hall.

Bear Park also functions as an outdoor lab, hosting Permaculture and Sustainability courses.

This building is also home to our Wellness Center, which allows students to access mental and physical health professionals right here on campus!

Students in the Nursing, Ski & Snowboard Business, Hospitality Management, Studio Art programs will engage in hands-on learning in our lab facilities and smart classrooms.

Everyone loves the views, inside or outside, from the dining hall!

Life in Hill Hall is exciting! Students who live on campus are able to experience a traditional college environment, all within a few minutes’ walk to class.

Students can visit one of our study lounges for a quiet place to study or join friends in our common area to make a meal and play games.

Our residents are active parts of both the Steamboat Springs and CMC communities, engaging in activities both on-campus and in the town, including the local hot springs, trivia nights, and rail jams in town!

The Ball Observatory contains a fully computerized 11” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope on a computer-controlled mount system that allows students and community members to explore, both in-person and remotely, the beautiful dark skies of Steamboat and as an essential experiential learning component of our Astronomy & Physics classes.

Students can visit the Learning Lab and access free tutoring and writing support in a comfortable and inclusive environment.
